TOBY WILSHER Writer/Director/Designer

Wilsher was born in 1959 to an actor father and a mother who did everything in theatre from director and stage-manager to teacher and choreographer. His early theatrical education encompassed everything from the RSC and the National to Marcel Marceau, Moving Picture Mime Show, Steve Berkoff and the many rep theatres around the country where his father was performing.

Wilsher co-founded Trestle Theatre Company in 1981 and was their Artistic Director until he left in 2004. Other recent work has included the State Theatre of Istanbul, West Sussex Youth Theatre and OnO Theatre Company.

His book, The Mask Handbook: a Practical Guide was published by Routledge in 2006 and he regularly runs courses for Teachers in Mask Theatre.

JAMES GREAVES. James joined Trestle in 1989, and has worked on many productions with Toby, as well as working with Ophaboom, Foresight and Trading Faces.

14) Niki''s Nightmare

Doing all the hard work is NATALIE SINNADURAI as Administrator. She has had a rich and varied career as an administrator and general manager working for, among others, the Arts Council, English National Opera, Second Stride and Trestle. Most recently, she worked at Smiths Row (formerly Bury St Edmunds Art Gallery). She is currently establishing a production company to work with and represent freelance performing and visual artists, incorporating the work with MetaMorpho.
